Please read the followed rules and obey them. If we catch you breaking the rules, (1) the first time we will send you a detailed PM, (2) the second time you will be banned for three days, and (3) the third time you will be deleted.
Characters:
No one can be related to any of the characters in the book. For instance, you are Eragon's long-lost sister half removed. No, that won't be taken.
Sign up with your original character's name as your username. I don't want DeAtHgUy5000 here. I want a good, solid name. If you need one, Baby Names.com is a good place to start.
No fancy letters or fonts here; some computers can't read them and therefor the user could not.
On that note, you must have one username per character. So each character is played by one user!
With that said, only three characters per person. If you would like more, contact the admin to ask her.
No cross-overs
NO PICTURES FOR PHYSICAL DESCRIPTIONS!
NO perfect characters! Have flaws! No "Mary-Sues"! Shur'tugal staff will ask you to correct some things if it happens....
No two characters can have the same name. It's too confusing.
Role-Playing:
Please use some form of OOC (out of character) when talking out of character in the Role-Play boards! I do not want a lot of this, so please if it is not important to the RP take it to the OOC boards.
Please try and be literate/advanced.
Use spell-check, please.
No one-liners. Posts must be at least 150 words. Its not that hard, trust me. This is why we have a word counter.
This site is PG-13 there for mild cussing is allowed, but please do not go crazy with it on us. We don't want huge "potty mouths" here.
Nobody is perfect; I don't want Mary-sues.
No god-modeling or power-playing unless you have permission from the character's player first.
You can have up to three (3) characters, and that is the limit. Each character on a different user name, please.
You can not kill other people's characters unless you are a staff member and have permission to do so.
If there are already role-players already role-playing in a thread, you should ask to join and await the answer of both role-players. It is just the polite thing to do.
You can only be in one place at a time.
Be mature. The rating is PG-13.

Be very careful about spoilers. Try to have a ten-space area between a warning and a spoiler, and always mark a thread if it does have spoilers or might even have spoilers.
